1. Who we are

Qubeit (“we”) provides an AI film-creation platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights. Controller contact: hello@qubeit.io.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email, name, and (for Google/GitHub sign-in) your provider profile and avatar.
• Content — your briefs, scripts, prompts, and the films, images, characters and audio you generate.
• Usage data — generations, credits used, and product interactions, used to run the Service and improve our models.
• Billing data — handled by Stripe; we store your plan status and a Stripe customer reference, not your full card details.
• Technical data — IP, device/browser, and cookies necessary for sign-in and security.

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the Service; to generate your content; to process payments and royalties; to improve and train our own models using generation data and quality signals; to communicate with you; and to comply with law. Our legal bases (GDPR) are contract, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligation.

4. Model training

We use aggregated generation data and quality/preference signals (e.g., which take you kept) to improve our AI models. Where required, you can opt out of your content being used for model improvement by contacting us; this does not affect content needed to deliver the Service to you.

5. Processors we share with

We share the minimum necessary with sub-processors that run the Service: AI model providers (video, image, voice and language models) to generate your content; Stripe for payments; our hosting and database providers; and Google/GitHub for sign-in. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can delete projects and request account deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (incl. the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may access, correct, export, delete or restrict processing of your data, and object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact hello@qubeit.io. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. International transfers & security

Data may be processed outside your country by our providers under appropriate safeguards. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, though no method is completely secure.
