Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Qubeit (the “Service”), an AI film-creation platform. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may sign in with email/password, Google or GitHub.
3. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the briefs, scripts, prompts and other inputs you provide (“Inputs”) and, to the extent permitted by law, of the films, images, characters and audio you generate (“Outputs”). You grant Qubeit a limited licence to host, process and display your Inputs and Outputs to operate the Service, and — for content you publish to the marketplace or catalogue — to make it available to other users under the terms you choose.
4. AI-generated content
Outputs are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, imperfect, or resemble existing works. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before use. Exports are signed with C2PA provenance indicating AI generation. You must not present AI-generated content as a real recording of real events where doing so is deceptive or unlawful.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to create or distribute content that: depicts a real, identifiable person without their consent (including deepfakes, non-consensual likeness, or impersonation); is sexual content involving minors or non-consensual sexual content; incites violence, harassment or hatred; infringes intellectual property or privacy rights; is fraudulent, deceptive political disinformation, or otherwise illegal. We may suspend or remove content and accounts that violate this section.
6. Synthetic actors & the marketplace
Characters (“AI actors”), voices, environments and styles created in Qubeit must be synthetic and must not replicate a real person’s likeness or voice without rights. When you publish an asset to the marketplace, you represent that you have the rights to do so; you earn royalties when others license it, and Qubeit retains a platform fee (currently 30%). Royalties accrue as credits and may be paid out subject to minimums and verification.
7. Plans, credits & billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Plans include a monthly allowance of generation credits (“minutes”), which reset each period and do not roll over unless stated. Generation and export consume credits. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers to generate content and operate (including AI model providers and payment processors). Your Inputs and generated assets may be processed by these providers solely to deliver the Service.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qubeit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
